Problem and Business Value

Complete local-first engineering intelligence, safe read-only copilots, and E1-E4 enterprise certification evidence.

This version reduces the operational and governance risk represented by its committed work while preserving local-first operation and human authority.

Personas and Journeys

  • Individual developer: previews, validates, and adopts the capability locally.
  • Platform engineer: configures policy, compatibility, and operational boundaries.
  • Security or compliance reviewer: verifies evidence without receiving secrets or source content.
  • Maintainer: publishes, supports, migrates, and retires the capability safely.

The primary journey is discover or configure, preview, validate, approve, apply, observe, update, and roll back.

Scope

  • Local Project Intelligence: Index symbols, manifests, documentation, dependencies, and relationships with optional governed semantic metadata.
  • Governed Engineering Copilots: Provide architecture, dependency, security, test-gap, documentation, upgrade, and release recommendations.

Candidates

  • None approved.

Non-Goals

  • No raw source content in metadata indexes by default.
  • No copilot mutation without managed preview, policy approval, and consent.

Success Metrics

  • Incremental indexing remains bounded and integrity-verified.
  • Recommendations link to local evidence and explain uncertainty.
  • Full E1-E4 traceability and enterprise gates pass.
